This is from one of my academic projects,. We had to work on expressive typography. Though there was some confusion in the beginning as to what could be done, I finally decided to do motion design for a poem that I came up with, based on my thoughts.
(I ponder and brood a lot!)
It occurred to me that for some of us, memories aren't that strong, but there are instances where a feeling persisted. And it lingers in a manner that you seek to experience again someday. Hence, based on the same, I came up with the poem below:
Ps- An interesting observation, memories and feelings both have the same number of letters! This coincidence was helpful here.
Memories, they fade and blur,
But feelings, they remain,
Be it a soft evening breeze,
The fragrance of a curious corner,
The melodies of a garden,
The medley of hues on the horizon,
Or of the simple taste of happiness.
Mood Board
Memories, they fade and blur- just like photographic plates as seen above.
But feelings, they remain- even after the memories leave us sometimes.
Be it a soft evening breeze- like a soft gentle feather.
The fragrance of a curious corner- like the first rain of the year.
The melodies of a garden- of sweet simple beings like birds and bees.
The medley of hues on the horizon- like the sunset that fires the sky with warmth.
